About

My work is inspired by the poetry of all things. I draw the world around me every day. Abstraction, spirituality, and joy inform my attempts to shape the things we can't quite name.

My current body of work was painted over a two-year period of intense grief. I named it Signs of Life after coming back to the same images again and again: boats, kites, horses, fire--objects with a specific kind of momentum and life energy. As the world burns around us, I invite the viewer to join me in pursuing radical joy, radical hope, and reverence for vitality as it exists within and around us.
